William "Rocky" C. Wells Jr.

William “Rocky” C. Wells Jr, 82, of Woodstock, passed away May 1, 2021, at his home, He was born Nov. 19, 1938, in Harvard to William C. Wells Sr. and Mildred Wells.  His passions in life were going on trips with his wife Barb, and spending time with family.  He was a dedicated Cubs and Bears fan, and also enjoyed feeding the squirrels, and doing scratch-off tickets weekly.  He loved his career as a car salesman for Ferris Brothers in Harvard, and Reichert in Woodstock.  He was a Mason Member, Woodstock Moose Member, and served in the US Army.

Survivors include his brother, Delbert Wells, nieces, and nephews, David Jones, Pam (Bob, Frost, Cori (Mike) Turner, Julie (Kevin) Antonsen, Chad (Nickie) Wells, and Amy (Joe) Finfrock, numerous great-nieces, and nephews, stepson Mark (Michele) Coe, stepdaughter Michelle Slepcevich, and step-grandsons, Jayson and Cole Slepcevich, and David Sorensen.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Wells, his parents, sister Anita Jones, brother Edwin Wells, brother-in-law David Jones, and sister-in-law Nancy Wells, and niece Angela Wells.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Harvard, IL.
