Wayne Eric Carnehl, 44, of Harvard, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 30 in Harvard, IL.
Wayne was born March 21, 1977 to Wesley and Suzanne (Klimek) Carnehl in Lake Forest, IL.
He married Courtney Finke on Oct. 12, 2013 at the Starline in Harvard, IL. He was proficient in numerous trades, working most recently in the HVAC industry for the past 10 years.
Wayne was a gentle giant who loved his family deeply. As a caring and proud father, he was thrilled Maci shared his love for golf, softball, Star Wars, and even his hidden talent for doing impersonations. Wayne was delighted that Michelle displays his ideals of caring for others, as well as sharing his love for music by playing the flute. He always joked that he loved Courtney more because he had a bigger heart, and as it turned out, he physically did have a bigger heart. He was a humble man who was willing to help anyone he encountered. Wayne always offered a warm embrace to those around him, treating everyone like family. Wayne was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, and he enjoyed outdoor activities like hunting and fishing.
