Wanda E. Marzahl

Wanda E. Marzahl, age 72, of Harvard, IL, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025 in Crystal Lake, IL. Daughter of the late Patrick J. and Deloris L. (Bremseth) Gardner. Wanda was born on February 21, 1953, in Rochester, MN. On November 17, 1973, she was united in marriage with Charles J. Marzahl at Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvard. Wanda was deeply committed to her community, working as an office administrator for Harvard Milk Days for 25 years, organizing the community blood drive for over 20 years, holding office administration positions for multiple local businesses, and was a member of the Jaycees women’s group.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband, Chuck; sister, Merry (Ed) Crowder of Loves Park, IL; sister-in-law, Sue Gardner; and many nieces and nephews. In death, she is reunited with her parents, Pat and Deloris; and brother, Craig Gardner.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
