Sheriann Margaret Kleeman

Sheriann Margaret Kleeman, 67, of Harvard, entered Heaven, her forever home, on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Valley Hi in Woodstock, IL after a valiant attempt to conquer cancer.

Sheri was born March 29, 1957, to Norman “Dick” and Marguerite Weseman (Bangert) in Elgin, IL.  She married Theodore Max Kleeman on June 29, 2000, in Rockton, IL. 

Sheri was a free spirit and a social butterfly who loved living in the country and spending time in Hawaii and California with her grandchildren. She enjoyed many different pursuits in her life, but her hallmark was her dedication to the people in her community and her servant heart. In addition to professional volunteer roles, Sheri was kind and generous with her friends’ children and their children and she will be cherished for that for generations. She delighted in decorating for holidays, hosting parties, being outdoors in nature, and enjoyed festivals and celebrations with those she adored. Sheri focused on making memories and capturing them on film. She always had an easy trust in her faith in Jesus and lived for today. 

Survivors include her daughter Maggie (Stephen) Zygo of Orange County, CA, grandsons Julian and Jesse Zygo, bonus daughters Melissa Miller and Chelsea Sennett, bonus granddaughters Macie and Lanie Norgard, and siblings Judie Bright, Barbara Jones, Kevin Weseman, Mark Weseman, and Betty Frye as well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends (special mention to Kathy Mueller, Mary Miller, Deborah Lindenberg, and Jackie Scanlan). 

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Frye, sister Beverly Bills, and brother-in-law Steven Bright.

If you choose, donations may be made in Sheri’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to support children battling cancer. 

There will be a memorial gathering 5-7 PM Friday, November 8, 2024, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033.
