Sandra Lynn Henningsen

Sandra Lynn Henningsen born December 24, 1951, to Harold Dowell and Elanor Mott; raised by Dorris and Ralph Wagner passed on April 3, 2021, in her home with her daughter Missy by her side; stating it was payback for all the sleepless nights she had caused her while growing up.

She leaves behind 3 other children; son David, and stepdaughters Kami and Cori. Sandra was an amazing crafter; quilting was one of her favorites.

Sandra married Michael Lee Henningsen on March 5, 1979, in Woodstock, IL. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2009. They are now reunited. 

She also loved spending time with her family and leaves behind her siblings; Carol, Cheryl, Cricket, Joann, Penny, Mike, and Mark. She was blessed with many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews. She loved all of them very much, but her Laynee bug made her smile in a way that none of us could match, except for her fur grandbabies; Maggie and Gideon. She was blessed to have two incredible friends Kamie Oltz and Debbie Brinkman who showered her with love and compassion; we will forever be grateful for them. You are pain-free now Mom… spread your wings and fly. We will be waiting for your sign.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 20501 Brik Street, Harvard, IL 60033.
