Rosa Maribel Luna

Rosa Maribel Luna, 65, of Harvard, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on October 26, 2025.

Rosa was born on August 30, 1960, in Eagle Pass, Texas, the daughter of Vicente and Maria Garza.

Rosa was an alderwoman in Harvard and enjoyed serving her community in that capacity. As an insurance agent, she was deeply proud of the business she built.  Rosa was a loving mother and was overjoyed when she became a grandmother. She treasured time spent with her grandchildren.

Rosa is survived by her sons Raul (Kelleigh) Luna of Trenton, MI and Eric Luna of Raleigh, NC ; grandchildren Jefferson Luna, Wells Luna, Brooks Luna, Tyler Crum, and Madison Crum; and siblings Miguel Garza, Vicente  “Vinnie” Garza Jr, Roberto Garza, Arturo (Art) Garza, Susie Aleman, Oscar Garza, Sandra Kennedy, Blanca Garza, Fernando (Freddy) Garza, and George Garza.

She was reunited in death with her daughter Victoria Crum, siblings Alma Garza and Jose Garza, and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10 AM until 12 PM at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033.

Additional gathering time will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 1 PM until 4 PM with a memorial service to follow at The Starline Factory in the Helm Room, 300 W. Front St., Harvard, IL 60033.
