Ronald "Jake" Jacobs

Ronald L. Jacobs, 69, of Harvard passed away on May 17, 2018.

Ronald otherwise known as “Jake” was born November 30, 1948, in Harvard, IL; the son of Lester J and Dorothy L (Kendall) Jacobs. Jake joined the Marines and proudly served our country during the Vietnam Era.

He was employed as an MFG Foreman at the AutoTrol Group in Crystal Lake, IL. Jake loved riding his Harley, gardening and playing horse shoes and pool.

Survivors include his children, Ann (Jose) Lopez and Ronald Jacobs; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Raymond Jacobs, Steven (Kim) Jacobs and Judith Flagan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son Shaun Jacobs; siblings, Barbara Hutchinson, Patricia Vanderpal, Linda Burma, and Lester Jacobs (Gordon).

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
