Robert L. Mullis

Robert L. Mullis, 64, of Sharon, WI, passed away on February 11, 2025, after a brief illness.

Bob was born on December 30, 1960, in Elkhorn, WI, the son of Robert and Doris (Green) Mullis.

Bob married Lynette Mueller, and the pair was blessed with two children. Bob was committed to his family and cherished time spent with them. He was a hardworking and dedicated employee for many years at Knaack (now known as Werner Co.) in Crystal Lake where he was known for being reliable and dependable. Bob was steadfast in his personal motto, “Be positive!” and embodied it in his daily life. Bob was always able to see the bright side and smiled through it all. He had a great sense of humor and was full of jokes. Bob was a morally sound man and cared about what really mattered. Bob also had a fondness for animals and nature and especially enjoyed admiring the trees he planted in his backyard. He embraced his faith and was devoted to the Lord. Bob will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Bob is survived by his wife Lynn; his children Robert (Tina) Mullis and Jessica (Nolan) Shields; 3 grandchildren Christian, Mason, Hudson, and another grandson on the way, Maverick, who he was excited to meet; siblings Art (Sue) Mullis, Kathy Mullis Lemus, and Karen (Mulllis) Brunner; and his little dog Maggie who was always by his side or on his lap who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings Vicky Wegner and Donald Mullis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 10 AM until the 1 PM funeral service with Pastor Claire Brennecka officiating at the First Presbyterian Church, 7100 Harvard Hills Road, Harvard, IL 60033.
