Robert L Kizer Sr.

Robert L. Kizer Sr., 80, of Capron, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at his residence.

He was born December 23, 1940, in Yale, OK to George and Ruth (Smith) Kizer.

Robert worked for C.B.I for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and riding trails on his UTV. His true passion was spending time with his grandchildren.

On August 26, 1959, Robert married the love of his life Hanna (Albrecht). She preceded him after 60 years of marriage.

Survivors include his children Vicky (George) Towne, Robert (Camille) Kizer Jr., and Cindy (Mike) Ellifson; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and seven siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Hanna; daughters Ruth Gibson, and Susan Martin; and one brother George Kizer.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the funeral home is currently under restrictions of only allowing 10 people in at one time. We ask that everyone be patient so we may get everyone in attendance through to pay their respects to the family. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Capron Cemetery, Capron, IL.
