Richard Millard Obituary

Richard Douglas Millard, 78, of South Beloit, Illinois passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Fair Oaks Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Richard was born on November 18, 1943 in Harvard, Illinois son of Guy and Dorothy (Beavis) Millard. He worked for many years as a machine operator at Woodstock Die Casting. Richard enjoyed life’s simplicities and doing his own thing.

Richard is survived by his children Richard (Rick) Millard, Deborah (Dean) Gorter, Nickole (Chad) Wells and Jamie (Michael) Breen; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and siblings Kathy (Doug) Smith and Janice Toles.

Richard is predeceased by his parents; son Todd Thorpe; and brothers Gerald Millard, James Millard, and Thomas Millard.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, Illinois 60033.
