Phyllis E. Harris

Phyllis E. Harris, 76, of Roscoe, Illinois peacefully passed away on September 1, 2021.

She was born on February 3rd, 1945, in Harvard, IL to Cliff and Beatrice (Hammond) Peterson. Phyllis enjoyed tending to her rose bushes and vegetable garden, while watching hummingbirds buzz by. Her Sundays were full of Green Bay Packers and creating wood art. She will be remembered for her witty remarks that could make anyone laugh and a contagious smile.

Survivors include her son Kevin (Melissa) Harris of Delavan, WI; daughter Gayl (Mark) Kelly if Rockford, IL; grandchildren Jessica, Brett, Wyatt and Dianna; sister Pat Tibbitts of Hebron, IL, Jim Peterson of Arizona and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son William, sister Judy, and brother Terry.
