Paul George Breuninger, 76, of Harvard, passed away peacefully on Fri. March 4, 2022.
Paul was born Dec. 11, 1945 in Long Branch, NJ to George W. and Blanche B. (Zach) Breuninger.
Paul retired as a detective from the Cook County Sheriff’s Department after 30 years of service. He was known as a jack of all trades and a master of mad science. He was an intelligent man and knowledgeable on many subject matters. He was a three-time former Governor of the Harvard Moose Lodge and received his Fellow degree from the Harvard Moose Legion.
He is survived by his stepmother Grace Breuninger of Locust Grove, VA, daughter Dorcas Alexandria Breuninger of Williams Bay, WI, siblings John Connolly of Biloxi, MS, Bruce Breuninger of Richmond, WV, Marie Connolly of Vici, OK, George (Krista) Breuninger of Locust Grove, VA, and Robert (Dale) Breuninger of Port St. Lucie, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Blanche Breuninger, siblings Shirley Connolly and Billy Connolly.
