Patricia J. Ross

Patricia J. Ross, age 78, of Tiline, Kentucky, and formerly of Harvard, Illinois, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026. Daughter of the late Earl F. and Margaret A. Campbell Sr., Patricia was born on April 20, 1948, in Beloit, Wisconsin. She was united in marriage with George W. Ross on November 27, 1976, in Woodstock, Illinois. She had a long career as a machinist at Fuel Systems Textron in Harvard and later retired from Woodward Governor in 2008. Patricia loved spending time with her family and friends and cherished the moments they spent together. She was also a longtime member of the Harvard Moose Lodge.

Patricia is survived by her children, Melissa (Thomas) Roewer and Dale Clark; grandchildren, Justina (Lucas) Holland, Brandon Roewer, Caleb Roewer (Rebecca Freer), Wyatt Roewer (Allyn Butts), Ian Clark, Devan Clark, and Maya Clark; great-grandchildren Kinley and Waylon Holland; sisters, Nancy Hedlund and Peggy Schwanke; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Margaret Campbell Sr.; husband, George Ross; and siblings Linda Pollet and Earl F. Campbell Jr.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon, at which time a funeral service will be held. Services at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL, 60033. Interment will follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Patricia’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
