Pamela P. Arnold, 72, of Harvard, Illinois passed away in her home on May 2, 2022. Pam was born on January 23, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois daughter of Herbert and Julia (Zombro) Percival. Pam married the love of her life, Clarence E. Arnold, on April 11, 1971 in Park Ridge, Illinois. She received a B.A. in psychology from Elmhurst College and a M.A. in counseling psychology from Governors State University. Pam had a fulfilling career working in various social services agencies providing counseling and service linkage and referrals. Pam was a gentle and empathetic woman with an incredible love for young children and animals. She was very creative and talented. Pam loved to read and enjoyed journaling and writing fiction and poetry. She was also an accomplished painter. Pam loved nature and was captivated by weather.
Pam is survived by her beloved husband Clarence; sister Deborah (Steve) Percival Grever; sister-in-law Rhonda Wandersee; brother-in-law Larry (Maggie) Arnold; nephews Paul (Tahra Johnson) Grever; Eric King; Steven (Dotty) Arnold; and niece Jen (Rick) Perez.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents Herb and Julia (Zombro) Percival.
Plans for Pam’s Celebration of Life are pending. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pam’s name can be made to Turning Point, Inc. (Woodstock,IL), Home of the Sparrow, Inc. (McHenry, IL.), or the Pioneer Center for Human Services (McHenry, IL). Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home assisted the family.
