With profound sadness, we announce the death of Nathan Vogelsang, 65, after a seven-year battle with cancer. Nathan was born on June 15, 1954, in California to Clarence and Alma Vogelsang and died peacefully at home in Harvard, IL on April 21, 2020.
Nate was a kind and passionate man. His love for his family and friends was unconditional. He loved spending time with his grand-kids and hearing them call him "Papa". He also enjoyed hunting and spending time outside whenever he could. He will be remembered by many for his kind and welcoming heart. He will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen Vogelsang; his mother Alma Vogelsang; his children: Tara (Brian) Seiler, Aimee Berry, Brent (Tanya) Vogelsang, Aaron (Jana) Vogelsang, Gavin (Kelley) Berry; his grandchildren: Brady, Jackie, Lily, Vanessa, Blake, Viviana, Vera, Victoria, and Bryce; his siblings: Elsa (Bruce) Meyer, Dan (Carla) Vogelsang, Roger (Kathy) Vogelsang and Lena (Jesse) Jacinto.
He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Vogelsang and his sister Becky Vogelsang.
A celebration of life will be determined and announced at a later date.
