It is with great sadness that the family of Mike Grandmaison announce his passing on December 2, 2021.
Mike was born January 10, 1962 at the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina as his father served his country.
Mike will be remembered for a love of making people laugh. Mike had a generous heart, was always there to help someone in need and had the ability to make friends with everyone he met. Mike loved his swap meets, fixing things, traveling and camping throughout the US and motorcycles. Mike worked as a welder at Professional Power Products in WI.
Mike is preceded in death by his Father, Earl E. Grandmaison Jr. and his Mother, Dorothy (Runyon) Grandmaison. Mike is survived by his Sisters; Kaylee Raymond, Danielle (Fritz) Krause and Courtney (James) Scarpelli. His second Mom; Judyanne (Boyd) Dobnikar, Niece Alexa Krause, Aunt Elenor Holman-Olson, cousins; Robert Strause, John and Sigrid Holman and Linda Krohelski; best friend Keith (Linda) Patchik and countless friends.
The visitation will be held Tues., Dec. 7 from 4-8 PM at Saunders and McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W Sumner Street Harvard, IL, followed by private services and burial.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mike’s name to St. Jude’s Hospital.
