Mary Jean Cox Obituary

Mary Jean Cox (Dickson) 72 of Camden Tennessee left this world to be with our

Lord on June 30, 2025.

Mary retired from General Electric after many years of service. She obtained her

GED in early 2000. She loved all kinds of flowers and enjoyed nurturing her

flower gardens. She loved to travel and spent time exploring New Zealand. She

enjoyed reading, studying the Monarchy, and watching live safari cameras-

viewing exotic animals in their natural habitat.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Everett & Norma (Brown) Dickson,

Sister Susan Mulinero, and Niece Allie Beasley.

Mary leaves behind a loving husband William “Capt. Bill” Cox; children David

Baker of Genoa City, WI, Jason & Kelly Baker of Sheboygan, WI, Anthony & Julie

Dahlke of Lillington, NC, Joshua & Maggie Cox of Ottowa, Il and Adam Cox of

Camden, TN; grandchildren, Makenzie Castro, Elena Castro & Madalyn Baker

all of Sheboygan, WI, and Ethan Rolland Dahlke of Lillington, NC; sisters, Dawn

(Kenny) Beasley of Lake Jackson, TX and Karen (Jim) West of Jonesboro, AR;

6 nephews, Rob, Joseph, Jeremy, Coy, Trent and Sean; 3 nieces, Amy, Janie

and Teresa; 12 great nieces and nephews; Uncle Don (Penny) Brown; and

Aunts Dorothy Hale, Louise Seligman, Beverly Stuyvesant and Donna (Tom)

Popeck.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Saunders & McFarlin

Funeral Home 107 W. Sumner St, Harvard IL from 12 pm to 3 pm.
