MaryAnn Nolen Obituary

On December 13, 2025, MaryAnn Nolen of Harvard and most recently Walworth, WI, passed away at Our House Senior Living Memory Care, Whitewater, WI. She was 83.

MaryAnn was born March 13, 1942, to Frank and Helen (Lumpp) Raupp in Buffalo Grove, IL. The family moved to Harvard in the early 1950’s and then to Reedsburg, WI in 1959. MaryAnn stayed in Harvard, married Donald “Frog” Nolen in January 1961.  Together, they raised three children: Donnie, Daryl, and Diana.

MaryAnn was strong in her Catholic faith attending daily Mass and each Mass on the weekend.  She found joy in Jesus and being around her children and family, going to the family farm in Reedsburg, WI, and listening to everyone’s stories.  Known as the ‘Huggy Aunt’, MaryAnn always had a smile on her face and a hug in her heart, and finished her conversations with ‘Love You Bunches’.

She is survived by her children: Diana (Patrick) Jenkins, Daryl (Jackie) Nolen, and Donnie (Carolyn) Nolen. Grandchildren: Lucas Morris, Jennie, Rachael, and Kristen Nolen, Megan (Daniel) Johnson, Collin (Taylor Gallagher) Nolen and Justin (Lauren) Nolen and three great-grandchildren: Rory Johnson, Julian Nolen, and Nash Nolen; her siblings: Matt (Margo) Raupp, Louis (Maggie) Raupp, Fran (Ron) Richert, Jan (Dave) Geffert, Ellie (Jim) Bierman, Annette (Dave) Whitney and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved to see and spend time with.

She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Frank Raupp, John Raupp, Hank Raupp, Bill Raupp, Jim Raupp, Fred Raupp and sister Marge Sullivan; brothers-in-law, Jack Sullivan and Gary Whitney; sisters-in-law Joan Raupp, Carol Raupp, Vivian Raupp, and Bonnie Raupp.
