Marlene Ann Vermett, 84, of Harvard, passed away to eternal life Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital in Menomonee Falls, WI.
Marlene was born April 6, 1937 to Sam and Gertrude Donahue in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She married Jim D. Vermett on Feb. 8, 1958 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Harvard. Marlene worked at Arnold's for over 44 years. She enjoyed gossip, collected precious moments, and enjoyed her days being a grandma and taking care of her family.
Survivors include her beloved husband Jim Vermett of Harvard, granddaughters Tiffany Marlene Vance of Harvard and Whitney Jo Vance of Milwaukee, 2 great-grandsons Jovon Ratcliff and Avari Freeman, 2 sisters Phyllis Jacobs and Joanne Morris, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Denise JoVance, twin sister that died in infancy Arlene, 2 brothers Lee and Lyle Donahue, and 3 sisters Rita Siedsma, Jeannette Vickers, and Beverly Kohley.
The visitation will be 10 AM to 12 Noon Wed., Jan. 19 at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033. The funeral service will follow at 12 Noon at the funeral home. The Rev. Elizabeth Martin will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
