Marjorie Lee LaBelle

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Lee LaBelle, our beloved mother, nana, great nana, and friend at the age of 93.  Marjorie passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord with her children by her side on March 16, 2025. She was born August 12, 1931 in Nadeau, Michigan. Marjorie married the love of her life, Kenneth H. LaBelle, and they settled in Woodstock, Illinois until they retired in AZ.  Marjorie was predeceased by her husband; parents, Alfred & Ann Peterson; and her sisters.  Marjorie is survived by her 5 children: Kenneth LaBelle, Candace (Edward) Bentley, Connie (Paul) Weathersby, Pamela (Timothy) Fisher, and Thomas (Jeannie) LaBelle; 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and countless friends who cherished her friendship. She was very proud of her children and their families, and was greatly loved by all,  including her family at Golden Years Assisted Living. Marjorie was a beacon of warmth, kindness, love, and compassion. She was always ready with a listening ear, comforting hugs and support, and a great sense of humor.  Marjorie dedicated her life to raising her family, fostering a home filled with love and laughter, and she had unwavering faith in God. Her hobbies included painting, crafting, sewing, traveling, bingo and spending time with her family.  She leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and unwavering devotion. Marjorie was the shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her and will leave a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her.  A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
