Marie "Lorry" Schmidt

Marie “Lorry” Schmidt, 61, of Capron, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

She was born November 26, 1960, in Chicago to Ray & Marie (Salvato) Phillips.

Survivors include her husband Steven Schmidt, her children, Jeremy & Lance Schmidt, her grandson, Evan; siblings Lola Franz and Linda McKell.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Lorry had many hobbies and interests, a love for stuffed teddy bears, crocheting, baking as well as going to the races with her husband.  She also loved Elvis Presley and bowled on a league every week

Visitation will be held from 4 PM – 8 PM on Friday, January 7, 2021 at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home. A graveside service will be 3 PM on Saturday, January 8, 2021 at Capron Cemetery.
