Marian Martin

Marian Martin passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Williams Bay Health Services in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. Marian was born March 27, 1914. in Chicago, Illinois to August and Evelyn (Bishoff) Teske. She was the eldest of four children. Marian attended Audubon Grade School and Lakeview High School in Chicago. She married, the love of her life, Warren Earl Martin on June 27, 1936.

Marian worked at Woolworth Department Store in Chicago for several years.  After her two daughters were born she became a full time homemaker and enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. She was an active member of the Cary Women’s Club for many years.

Marian is survived by her daughters, Carole Van Haecke of Moorpark, CA and Diane Hering of Sharon, WI, 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband Warren Martin, parents August and Evelyn Teske, and siblings Betty Schmidt, Willard Teske & Evelyn Schneider.

A visitation will be held at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL on Tues., June 14, 2022 from 10:00 a.m to noon with a service to follow.

Internment will be at McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock, IL
