Maria Del Rosario Sanchez Montano

Maria Del Rosario Sanchez Montano, 72, of Capron, IL, passed away on July 27, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Maria was born on February 21, 1951, in San Miguel de la Herradura, Mexico.

Maria is survived by her husband Everardo; children Manuel De Jesus Sanchez, Juanita Sanchez, Luis Everardo Sanchez, and Alejandro Sanchez; daughter in law Maria Christina Saucedo Rodriguez; granddaughter Allison Zafiro Saldivar Saucedo; nephews Mizael Aguilar, Miguel Montano, and Mario Montano; as well as other beloved family members and friends.

Maria was preceded in death by her mother Concepcion Montano; her father Leon Montano; her sister Margarita Montano; brothers Jose Montano and Francisco Montano; and nephews Cruz Montano and Luis Montano.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 4 until 8 PM at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033. Funeral mass will be at 11 AM on Friday, August 4, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 206 E. Front St., Harvard, IL 60033. Interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in care of the family, either in person or directly on the website.
