Laura Belle Richardson

Laura Belle Richardson, 87, of Harvard, IL died on August 15, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Laura was born on August 21, 1933 in Saginaw, MI to Floyd and Leita (Hendricks) Miller. Laura was married on January 17, 1953 to Robert Richardson at the Marengo Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Nancy Richardson, Judith (Douglas) Decker, Sharon (Richard) Hemmingsen, and Mary Ann (Harold) Henning, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandson.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Leita (Hendricks) Miller, husband Robert Richardson, siblings Luella (Paul) Dawson, Joyce (Joe) Nason, Floyd (Audrey) Miller, George (Dena) Miller, her father-in-law and mother in-law George and Leona Richardson, her brother in-law Melvin (Frieda) Richardson, her nephews Michael Miller, Dale Dawson,  Gary Richardson, Duane Richardson, Paul Dawson, and Bob Miller, and her great-grandson Charles Billington.

The visitation will be from 10 AM until the 12 PM funeral service Fri., Aug. 20 at the First United Methodist Church, 1100 N. Division St., Harvard, IL 60033.  Rev. Alex Lee will officiate.  Burial will be in Marengo City Cemetery in Marengo.
