As legend has it, if a ladybug lands on you then you’ll have good luck. Kipp was known for always having a ladybug pin on her shoulder so she must have been very, very lucky. She and her husband Dick were lucky to adopt many dogs that were abandoned on their corner of Streit Road. Kipp was lucky to have a large yard because she loved the outdoors and feeding the many birds and critters that shared it with her. Her dogs and birds and critters were lucky too.
Kipp is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dick, her parents, 3 brothers Samuel, Richard, and William Seagren, and five sisters Elizabeth Seagren, Eva Brooke, Edna Seagren, Eleanor Bottlemy, and Eloise Firn.
Visitation will be Friday, February 28, 2025, from 1 PM until the 3 PM memorial service with Pastor Char Hoffmann officiating at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W.
