Keith Krueger

Clarence Keith Krueger, 87, of Cherry Valley, formerly of Harvard died on Monday, July 29, 2019, at River Bluff Nursing Home, Rockford, IL.

Keith was born December 18, 1931, in Alden Township to Herman and Luella (Layman) Krueger. He worked at Woodstock Die Cast until it closed and later worked as a custodian at Jefferson School until his retirement. On June 29, 1957, Keith married Jeanette Cole at the First United Methodist Church in Harvard, IL.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Keith enjoyed being a part of group game night through the church, watching sports, and bowling.

Survivors include his spouse Jeanette; Children Scott Krueger, and Ruthanne Michalek; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2019, at the First United Methodist Church, 1100 N. Division St. Harvard, IL 60033. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. Pastor Eric Blachford will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date.
