Juanita W. Kottman

Juanita W. Kottman, 81, of Harvard, died Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at her home.

Juanita was born May 8, 1942 to Walter and Juanita (Penry) Saveraid in Lewis, Iowa. On June 21, 1959 she married the love of her life, Roger, in Evansdale, Iowa. She was a wonderful mother who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was also a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Waukegan, Illinois. She will be greatly missed.

Juanita is survived by her husband, Roger, sister Norma Orum, children Lorri Butts, Rick (Tammy) Kottman, Deona Kottman, Tammie (Paul) Bobel, Juanita (Doug) Day, 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Juanita Saveraid, brothers Wayne, LeRoy, and Palmer Saveraid.

A memorial gathering will take place at a later date.
