Juan Jose Salcedo Cortez

Juan Jose Salcedo Cortez, 52, of Harvard, passed away on August 21, 2023.

Juan was born on February 14, 1971 in La Paz, Mexico to Enrique Salcedo Garibay and Mercedes Cortes Silva.

Juan was very sociable. He liked meeting new people and spending time with his friends.

Juan is survived by his son Juan Jose Salcedo; and sisters Patricia Salcedo Cortez and Enriqueta Salcedo Cortez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Mercedes.  

A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM Friday, September 1, 2023 at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033. A prayer service will be held at 7:45 PM. Juan will then return home to Mexico to his mother, father, and other family.
