It is with great sadness that the family of Joan E. Colcord age 70, born April 6, 1951 died in Belvidere, Illinois on December 19, 2021.
Joan worked for Baxter Healthcare for 17 years. She had horses for over 20 years and loved riding them. She also collected Breyer horses and enjoyed to knit.
She is survived by 3 siblings Janice Colcord of Capron, David Colcord of Woodstock, and Joyce (David) Bauer of Minocqua, WI, nephews Scott and Aaron Colcord, and Clint Westphal, niece Valerie Sivlik Colcord, 3 great-nephews, 4 great-nieces, and numerous cousins. Joan is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Elva (Bauman) Colcord, and brother James Colcord.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Capron Rescue Squad, PO Box 422, Capron, IL 61012.
No service or gathering will be held at this time due to Covid 19.
