Joan Isabelle Bowdish

Joan Isabelle Bowdish, 81, of Harvard, passed away on Wed., Dec. 11, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on Feb. 21, 1943, to Robert and Betty (Lush) Jones in Harvard, IL.  She married Robert Bowdish on Oct. 16, 1965, in Harvard.

Joan is survived by her husband Robert, three sons Craig, Jeffery, and John, and two brothers Bob Jones and Ray Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jay jones, and twin sister Jean (Jones) Altenberg.

The visitation will be from 10AM until the 12 Noon funeral service on Mon., Dec. 16, 2024, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033.  Interment will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

In lieu flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
