Jeffrey "Bodean" D. Firlick

Jeffrey D. “Bodean” Firlick, 53, of Harvard, IL passed away peacefully on August 10, 2023, at home surrounded by his wife and family. Bodean was born on August 21, 1969, in Harvard, IL, the son of Donald and Reta (Jones) Firlick.

Bodean lived an adventurous life; going to concerts and bashing in the mosh pits, fishing, riding motorcycles and playing guitar. He enjoyed going camping in Baraboo over the years and had a laugh no one could forget. He was the guy that would give you the shirt off his back and was only a call away. Bodean will be deeply missed by friends and family whom he loved unconditionally.

Bodean is survived by his wife Cheryl; children Josh and Josie Firlick; stepdaughter Hailey; stepson Angel (Danielle) Hernandez; step grandson Logan; his mother Reta Firlick; and sisters Deanna Goncales and Tina Burrus.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald Firlick, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in care of the family, or directly through the website in Bodean’s honor.
