Jason Nerge Obituary

Jason Nerge, 49, of Delavan, WI passed away on February 24, 2024 at his home.

He was born on March 5, 1974 to David and Donna (Moore) Nerge in Rockford, IL.

Jason enjoyed listening to rock music, attending concerts and acquired a large collection of music over the years. He loved food and looked forward to nice weather so that he could grill outside. Brats and steak were some of his favorites. When the weather got colder, football was what got him through the season. He wouldn’t miss a chance to watch the Packers games and would have to make sure he was by a TV even during family gatherings so he could watch it. When he was younger, he enjoyed playing football and fishing.

He was a CNC machinist for over 20 years and worked for several large companies in the industry making anything from parts for aerospace to cutting and drilling tools.

He is survived by his mother Donna, sister Danielle (David) Voght, and nephew Connor.

He is preceded in death by his father David, uncle Dan Nerge, maternal grandparents Cleo and Pauline Moore, and paternal grandparents Stuart and Lucile Nerge.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, services will be private.

Memorial donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 504 E. Diggins Street, Harvard or Lakeland Animal Shelter, 3615 State Road 67, Delavan, WI in his honor.
