Jamison "Jamie" Leyrer

Jamison Leyrer, 48, of Harvard, died on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital

– Park Ridge, IL.

He was born July 16, 1974, in Elgin, IL. The son of Robert H. and Charlene (Legel) Leyrer. He attended Harvard High School. Jamie enjoyed LARPing, D&D, Renaissance Faires, playing video games, science fiction, and cooking. He also enjoyed spending time with his beloved chihuahua, Peanut.

Survivors include his father Bob Leyrer, daughter Amanda, sisters Anna Leyrer (Bill Westerberg), Beth (Armando) Cazares, nephew Alexi Cazares, nieces Naomi and Ariani Cazares, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother Charlene Leyrer and his grandparents.

A memorial gathering will be from 4 – 7 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2023, with a service to follow at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033.
