Howard Wayne Mikkali

Howard Wayne Mikkali, 75, of Harvard, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at his home in Harvard.

Howard was born August 23, 1949, to John and Lillian Mikkali in Chicago.  He was in the Army and served during the Vietnam War.  He married Donna Korst on July 30, 1997, at Hearthstone Manor in Woodstock, IL.  In Howard’s free time, he really loved getting out on his motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife Donna of Harvard, children Craig (Maureen) Gates of Crystal Lake, IL and Jessica Gates of Crystal Lake, IL, and grandchildren Dayton, Leticia, Vashon, and Lucas Gates.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Lillian.

The burial will be held privately in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
