Eileen Marie Gerber

Eileen Marie Gerber, 60, died Oct. 12, 2021 at her home in Harvard.

Eileen was born Aug. 23, 1961 to Donald and Ursula (Wolter) Torgersen in Waukegan, IL.  She married Robin Gerber on Aug. 21, 1982 in Charleston, SC.  She was a Doctor of Pharmacology.

Survivors include her husband Robin Gerber, daughters Arielle Anne Gerber and Corinne Nicole (Kevin) Splain, two grandchildren Danika and Damien Splain, her mother Ursula Torgersen, siblings Timothy (Sue) Torgersen, Paul (Sue) Torgersen, Maureen (Ray) Callahan, and Laura Gallagher.

She was preceded in death by her father Donald Torgersen, grandmother Elisabeth Wolter, grandfather Ferdinand Wolter, nephew Liam Gallagher, and best friend Anne Marie (Hess) Hammans.

There will be a visitation from 11 AM to 12 Noon on Tue., Oct. 19 at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033.  The funeral service will be at 12 Noon at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
