Edmund D. Krunfus

Edmund D. Krunfus, 72, passed away on Sat. Jan. 22 at Mission Point in Clarkston, MI.

Edmund was born July 18, 1949 to Edmund W. and Malinda (Winkelhake) Krunfus in Elgin, IL.

On August 15, 1970 Edmund married Tracy Laura Davis in Brown Deer, WI.  They were married for 37 years before Tracy passed on September 26, 2007.

After Carthage College in Kenosha, WI, Edmund graduated from Marquette University Milwaukee, WI. He retired after 35 years as a mechanical engineer for Ford Motor Company in Michigan.

Survivors include siblings Judy Pfingsten of Harvard, IL, Janice (James) Reinecke of Bolingbrook, IL, nieces/nephews Joyce (Jeffery) Freres & family of Genoa City, WI, James (Andrea) Susong & family of Colorado Springs, CO, Jeffrey (Sherry) Susong of Avalon, WI, Joanna Reinecke (Randy Mikutis) & family of Bolingbrook, IL, Brian (Julie) Downey of Santa Fe, NM, Greg Downey (Julie Yendrek) & family of Madison, WI.

He was preceded in death by parents Edmund W. and Malinda Krunfus, and wife Tracy.

The visitation will be 10-11 AM Sat., Jan. 29 at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033.  The funeral service will follow.  Interment will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery immediately following the service.
