Eddie J Havlicek

Eddie J. Havlicek, 37, of Somonauk, IL passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, IL.

He was born September 24, 1981, in Harvard, IL the son of Frank and Nancy (Preston) Havlicek.

Eddie was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of the NRA and the V.F.W. Eddie enjoyed fishing, and hunting, but most of all spending time with his family and going to Price Lake in Phillips, WI. He worked at Elite Line Services in Aurora, IL.

Eddie married Kristi Anderson on July 10, 2010, in Somonauk, IL; they had two children.

Survivors include his wife Kristi; their sons James and Gunnar Havlicek; parents Frank & Nancy Havlicek of Harvard; siblings Frank, Mindy Havlicek, Sheri (Mike) Musser, Nadine (Rick) Peterson, John (Audrey) Havlicek, and Janine (James) Edwards; numerous nieces and nephews. Survivors also include father-in-law Kevin (Becky) Anderson; sister-in-law Nicki (Quentin) Cather; and brother-in-law Eric (Amanda) Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and mother-in-law Donna Anderson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, from 2-7 p.m. at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m.
