Doris Lawrence

Doris Lawrence passed away on Mon., Oct. 18, 2021 in Westfield, WI. 

Doris was born on Aug. 30, 1935 in Elgin, Illinois to William and Marjorie (Wilcox) Fleming. She married Branson on November 30, 1956 at the First United Methodist Church in Harvard. She worked at Jefferson Grade School in Harvard and taught third grade at Washington Elementary School in Belvidere. She taught Sunday school at Harvard UMC. Her hobbies included ceramics, quilting, gardening, and traveling. 

Survivors include her husband Branson Lawrence; children Branson (Ann) Lawrence Jr., Leslie (Paul) Schmidt, Marc (Julie) Lawrence; grandchildren Branson S. (Anna) Lawrence, Abigail (Shane) Kobzina, Ryan Lawrence, Reagan Lawrence, Nate Lawrence, Rachael (Shemar) Clahar and great-grandchildren Adria Lawrence, Magnolia Lawrence, Rosemary Lawrence, Branson H. Lawrence.

She was preceded in death by seven siblings.

There will be a visitation from 9 AM to 10 AM on Fri., Oct. 22, 2021 at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033. The funeral service will be at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Harvard, IL.
