Donna R. (Warnke) Yates

Donna R. Yates, 78, of Harvard passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021, at Javon Bae Hospital, Rockford, IL.

She was born January 28, 1943, in Des Plaines, IL; to Herman and Hilda (Finke) Warnke.

Donna worked as a hairdresser for many years until retirement. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, The Harvard Historical Society, the Garden Club and was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary.

Donna married Alan Lyle Yates on September 19, 1964, in Harvard, IL. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2007.

Survivors include her children Christopher (Molly) Yates, Aaron (Autumn) Yates, and Anne (Ryan) Giddings; three grandchildren Lauren Anne Giddings, C.J. Yates, and Nicholas S. Giddings; one sister Wanie (Roger) Reeverts.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Alan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1601 Garfield Rd, Harvard, IL 60033. Inurnment will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
