Donald Robert Smith

Donald Robert Smith, 69, of Harvard, passed away, Wed., Feb. 9 at his home.

Donald was born September 29, 1952 to Frederick W. and Grace E. (McConnell) Smith in Harvard, IL. Donald graduated from Harvard High School in 1971, and Devry Institute in 1973. He worked in IT for 44 years for both Honeywell and Grainger. Don was a lover of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and placed many miles on his bikes over the years. He was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he was baptized and confirmed.

Donald is survived by his daughter Louisa (fiancé, Kyle) Frost-Smith, Tim Arrigo, and sister Nancy Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Grace Smith, and brother Ronald Smith.

Visitation will be Friday, February 18 from 3-8 PM at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home; 107 W Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033, services will take place at 5 PM, officiated by Rev. Elizabeth Martin.
