Delores Mae Johnson

            Delores Mae Johnson, 93, of Marshfield, Missouri, died on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Marshfield Care Center in Marshfield. 

            Delores was born September 4, 1928, in Colby, WI at Sand Hill Farm to George and Ella (Koerner) Uhlig.  She graduated from Harvard High School in1946.  Delores married Harold Francis Johnson on January 5, 1949 in Harvard, Illinois.  Delores and Harold were married for 54 years before his death on March 22, 2003.

            She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, fulltime homemaker and wonderful baker, as well as a factory worker for many years, while also farming with her husband.  They raised seven children and had many, many grandchildren that they adored.  They lived in Harvard, Illinois for many years before moving to Gays Mills, Wisconsin and later Boscobel, Wisconsin before moving to Marshfield, Missouri.

            Survivors include six of their seven children, Connie (Richard) Krause of Marshfield, MO, Bob (Melanie) Johnson of Richland Center, WI, Pam Conley of Garden Prairie, Linda (Mitchell) Epstein of Boca Raton, FL, Sandy (Craig) Walker of Naples, FL and Jackie (Mick) Knoble of Boscobel, WI; 16 grandchildren, Cheryl (Mark), Margaret, Jennifer (Pete), Amanda, Gayle (Steve), Tom, Chris, Kari (Zebulun), Stephanie, Kyle, Alyssa, Cassie (Tim), Ronny, Nikki (Brian), Cody (Amber), Megan; 29 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and sisters Myrtle Isenhart and Paulette Wagner.

            Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter Phyllis Koltz; her sons-in-law, Ken Wilkinson, Ed Conley, and Bruce Koltz; two grandchildren, Heather and Andrew; and 3 siblings, Evelyn Waling, Norbert Uhlig, and Carol Brown.

            Visitation to be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Day Funeral Home in Marshfield, MO.

            Visitation and funeral services will be held at the Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner Street in Harvard, IL on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00.  Interment will be in North Sharon Cemetery in Sharon, WI
