Debra (Debby) Carol Schumer, 66, died suddenly in Chandler AZ on September 28, 2021.

Debby was born November 8, 1954 in Evanston, IL to Joseph and Caroll Schumer .  She was a 1972 graduate of Harvard High School and worked at the Harvard Hospital until 1978.  Then she moved out to Arizona and worked for Banner Health for 40 years.

Debby was a huge Phoenix Suns fan, Arizona Cardinals fan and her favorite Nascar driver was Chase Elliott.
She also loved collecting Hallmark ornaments and crocheted and knitting things over the years for her family. She also loved playing her pogo games. Her favorite color was purple. She collected anything purple and she also collected Snoopy and Woodstock figurines.

Debby is survived by her siblings Michael (Susan) Schumer, Cindy (Deon) Wojciechowski, Joseph Schumer and Paul (Diane) Schumer, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and one aunt, Shirley Schumer.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Caroll Schumer, her brother Larry Schumer, her Godparents Leo Kinsch and Gertrude Schumer.

There will be a memorial gathering 1 – 3 PM Friday, October 22, 2021 at Saunders and McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033.  Burial will be private.
