Deborah Jean Nichols

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Jean Nichols, 62, who passed away on Saturday, January 29th at her home in Harvard, Illinois.

Debbie was born on October 8th, 1959 in Chicago.  Her family moved to Arlington Heights in 1965 and she graduated from Arlington High School in 1977.

Debbie used her talent for sewing working as a seamstress and showcased her outgoing personality tending bar for many years.

Debbie loved the outdoors and gardening. She enjoyed snowmobiling, attending cart and car races and was an avid Cub’s Fan.  Debbie loved spending time with her many friends and her dog Rosita.

Survivors include, mother, Patricia Gill, Arlington Heights, IL, siblings, Don (Patricia) Clark, Bellevue, WA, Laura (John) Shahinian, Palatine, IL, Michael (Stella) Clark, Harvard, IL, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Clark, Tower Lakes, IL, Linda (David) Crawford, Sarasota, FL, Judy (Steve) Gill, Calgary, Alberta, several nephews and nieces as well as many friends including Rory Pederson and Scott Nowicki.

She was preceded in death by her father Donald Clark, sister Cynthia Hourigan and stepfather Richard Gill.

The visitation will be 2-4 PM Saturday, February 5th, 2022, with a service at 3 PM at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033.
