Deborah Sue (Thompson) Livdahl
7/18/1954 - 2/11/2022
Deborah Sue (Thompson) Livdahl, of Sterling Heights, MI, and formerly of Harvard, IL, has graciously gone to be with her loved ones in heaven.
Deb was an angel in disguise sent from heaven. She loved everyone and had a heart of gold. Her laugh and smile were contagious, with that, her wisdom and willingness to help anyone is what helped many through tough times. She has a passion for all things beautiful, which is what she saw in everyone, beauty.
Deb had many roles during her life. Her favorite was being called Mom or Ma by everyone who walked through the door, which was usually wide open because she had lost her keys again. The comfortableness of being in her presence was felt by everyone. Then came her role of Nana, which was by far her favorite and could be seen by everyone on her glowing face.
For many many years she served the Lord by teaching his word at Sunday school. This is where having eyes in the back of her head really came into play and she could share her love of her faith and the church with the kids. The Sunday school kids have always held a very special place in her heart. She was also very prideful of her 39 years as an AA member.
Deb is survived by her 3 children; Patricia (Mike) Godlewski, Donald (Amber) Livdahl and Peter (Amanda) Livdahl. 8 Grandchildren; Daniel (Haley), Meagan, Mackenzie, Byron, Brock, Bailey, Britta, Blake and her 1st Great-Grandchild on the way. Sister, Amy (Arthur) Zobrist of Norfolk, NE and Lisa Wissing of Phoenix, Arizona.
She is predeceased by the love of her life Don Livdahl and her parents, Craig Thompson and Patricia Reed and brother Craig Thompson Jr.
She will be missed by many, but her legacy of love lives on in all she knew.
