Daniel L. Klemann

Daniel L. Klemann, age 71, of Harvard, IL, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026. Daniel was the son of Victor J. and Gilberta M. Klemann, born on April 17, 1955, in Canton, OH. He was united in marriage with his best friend, Lori A. Albrecht, on June 20, 1987. The couple raised three children and shared 39 wonderful years of marriage together. Daniel had a lifelong manufacturing career in blow molding and plastics before.

Dan loved all things outdoors, whether camping under the stars, enjoying a peaceful day fishing, or just being surrounded by nature. He was also a devoted cat dad to a colony of feral cats that he compassionately took care of for many years. Above all, his faith was the foundation of his life. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Dan was a loyal and faithful servant who remained deeply committed to his Kingdom Hall and to sharing his beliefs through his example.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Lori Klemann; children, Angela Bliefnick, Daniel (Keira) Klemann, and Travis Klemann; grandsons, Andrew Bliefnick, Keegan Klemann, and Uilliam Klemann; granddaughters, Annabella Bliefnick and Lily Smith; brothers, Randall, David (Kathy), and Victor Klemann; sisters, Sharon (Richard) Carpenter, Victoria (Denny) Savage, and Jeanne Harris.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Gilberta Klemann; brother, William Klemann; and nephews, DJ Klemann and James McClelland.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 10:00AM until 12:00 noon at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL, 60033. A funeral service will follow at noon. Daniel will be laid to rest at Dunham-Chemung Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in care of Daniel’s family to Lori Klemann.
