Chester Kruckenburg

Chester Kruckenberg, 72, of Capron died on Monday, April 19, 2021, at Amberwood Care Center, Rockford, IL.

He was born June 6, 1948, in Mundelein, IL to Arthur and Vivian (Umbdenstock) Kruckenberg. Chester served in the United States Army Infantry from 1967-1969.

Survivors include his siblings Ken (Sandy), Art (Meg), Victor (Sandra) Kruckenberg, and Eileen Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, George, and James Kruckenberg; and Jean Harnisch; brothers-in-law Eugene Harnish and Ed “Cobb” Anderson; as well as two nieces Pamela Kruckenberg, and Andi Swenson.

Visitation will be 11:00AM - 2:00PM, Saturday, June 12th, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL.
