Cathy L. Jenkins

Cathy L. Jenkins, 63, of Woodstock passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at her residence, on March 26, 2021.

She was born July 23, 1957, in Chicago, IL; the daughter of the late James L. and Betty Jean (Collier) Jenkins.

Cathy worked as a home care provider for many years. She loved listening to loud music, gardening, writing, motorcycles, and dressing up. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren, she was always capturing the memories of them on camera and watching them over and over. Her smile was radiant and her soul was beautiful.

Cathy married Al Hildebrand on November 24, 2015, after being by each other’s sides faithfully since they met in September of 2001.

Survivors include her husband Al; daughter Starla Kealey and son in law Franky Villanueva; four beloved grandchildren Matheo, Aliah Star, Ariel Jai aka Baby Jai, and Annastacia; and one brother Gary Jenkins and wife Sharon; Sister-in-law Connie Jenkins; Brother-in-law Bob Cummings; Twelve nieces and nephews Brandi and Robert, Carrie and Cory, Kami, Scott, and Jeremy, Ashley and Whitney, Kimberly, Michelle, and Michael Rose as well as chosen family Kera and Terry Hebenstreit, Shaun Jurgens, Rosalia Gomez, and Diane Allen

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Jason Kealey; and four siblings Char Cummings, Debbie Marcus, Danny Jenkins, and Theresa Seager.

Per Cathy’s wishes, there will be a Celebration of her Life at 327 Lincoln Ave Woodstock IL on April 5th from 3-10 pm. Flowers for the services can be sent to 327 Lincoln Ave Woodstock IL 60098.
