Carol Aubrecht, 91, of Belvidere, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Cherryvale Place in Rockford, IL.
Carol was born August 2, 1933, to Raymond and Darlene (Behrens) Esmond in Harvard, IL. She married G. Wayne Bell on June 19, 1950. Wayne passed away on June 6, 1992. On November 27, 2004, Carol married Walter Aubrecht in Harvard. Walter passed away on December 30, 2011.
Carol worked for Harvard Federal Savings and Loan for over 25 years as a bank teller. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and loved dogs.
Survivors include her sons Steven (Patti) Bell and David (Dorothy) Bell, grandchildren Kirk (Sara) Bell, Jorden (Thad) Gabron, Eric (Melissa) Bell, Erin (James) Melson, Tyler (Karri) Bell, Todd (Maureen) Vanlue, and Tracy (Miguel) Sanchez, and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands G. Wayne and Walter, son Ken Bell, daughter Gayle McFarlin, sister Janice Winterroth, and her favorite dog Kaysie.
The visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033. The burial will be private.
