Bruce E Van Dyke

Bruce Edward Van Dyke, 69, of Harvard, IL, passed away on May 31, 2023.

Bruce was born on October 4, 1953, in Chicago, IL, the son of Eldon and Alice (Glamkowski) Van Dyke. Bruce married Vie Shela Maganaye on June 23, 2004, in the Philippines. He was a master automotive body man for many years before retiring. Bruce loved fishing and was a big White Sox fan who enjoyed taking his family to games. He enjoyed travelling and being spontaneous- trying new foods as well as visiting new places. Bruce loved his family more than anything else.

Bruce is survived by his wife Shela; his son Victor; as well as his two brothers James and Eugene.

Bruce was preceded by death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 4 PM until the 7 PM service at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033.
