Brenda L Oost

Brenda Lynn Oost, 59, of Belvidere passed away on June 3, 2018, at her sister’s home in Rockford, IL.

She was born April 14, 1959, in Harvard, IL the daughter of Herman R. and Shirley M. (Miller) Oost. Brenda worked as a travel consultant and worked for comfort keepers. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, and was a Women of the Moose member and enjoyed doing art. She was very involved as a volunteer and a leader in support groups.

Survivors include her sisters Bonnie (Bill) Bailey of Rockford, and Glenda Miller (Paul Lis) of Harvard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Connie.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Thursday, June 7, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 206 E. Front Street, Harvard, IL. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
